Scholarship Opportunities

Miami Dance Project Scholarship Selection Process: Candidates are reviewed on a basis of need, talent, grades, and attitude. The primary selection pool is from the Miami Dade County School. Students who desire to further their dance education may request consideration for scholarships. No prior formal dance experience is required, however a true financial need for assistance is. A W2 form and/or 1099 form is mandatory at the time of application.

TWO PART SELECTION: First a panel of judges will evaluate the talent portion of the audition. Once selected the board of directors of the Miami Dance Project meet with the applicant and guardians for an interview, and the final selections are made. The number of scholarships given are dependent on funding. Once the individual has been selected for the scholarship program all his/her class tuitions and costume fees are paid by the Miami Dance Project.
